We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and compliance within our processes.

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Financial Project Manager to support the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will have a background in economics with solid experience managing the financial aspects of national and European projects. The position is based in Nicosia, Cyprus, and is ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance.

You will work closely with our chartered accountants, handle employee contracts, manage travel and expense reporting, and ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements. You will report directly to the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management and reporting for national and EU-funded projects, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
• Act as liaison with chartered accountants for financial reviews, audits, and reconciliations.
• Draft and manage employee contracts in accordance with legal and internal policy frameworks.
• Manage travel arrangements, expense tracking, and travel-related budgeting and reporting.
• Assist in preparing financial and administrative reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, and events involving internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial project management within national and EU project frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with external accounting professionals.
• Solid experience in contract preparation and document management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and task prioritization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in travel reporting and financial documentation.
• Knowledge of the Cypriot and Greek Tax and VAT systems is considered an advantage.
• ACA qualification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.

• Gross annual salary range: €30,000 – €35,000, based on experience and qualifications.
• Working hours: 6 hours per day, 4 days per week, based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
